...with Rolls Royce Merlin engine! Seems perfect for a Anglo-Deutsche 964RS Gruppe-Buy?

The Me109G was a good plane , my garage landlord helped to rebuild one at Duxford before an AirViceMarshal crashed it on a display day.

The barn find is not matching numbers and we'd have to source a DB engine to replace the Merlin, so might not be a good buy.

I used to pilot a Messerschmitt KR200 Kabinenroller in central London - scary daily driver [;)]

Always wanted to have one of these--but am 6 foot 3... Is there enough space for my frame in there?

No problem Phil -we'll just cut a hole in the floor and you can use your feet for take off and landing Flintstone style -means we won't have to rebuild the undercarriage.... [;)]

Yes Phil , no problem .
The seating arrangement is tandem , you just move the driver seat back and push the passenger up against the battery....
I never checked how far back driver seat will run but its not a major mechanical revision.
I had the top opening plexiglass cabin version , there was also a rag top cabrio version but that does not look like a proper cockpit....[;)]

What's wrong with a Merlin engine?-my father worked for Rolls Royce during the war travelling around the various factories on quality control on the Merlin engines
so they are dear to my heart!

I had the Sachs 200cc Dynostart engine in my 3rd scooter-a Kieft would do 75mph-wouldn't have fancied doing that speed in the Messerschmitt which had the same engine.

Elvis: "Are you lonesome tonight?"
Oldtimer: "It's now or never, come hold me tight..."
