Hi does anybody know why my OBC readout has gone from orange to almost un readable all the correct readings are there via the stalk just gone dark.
Isit something i've done

there is a bulb behind the amber LCD display.. pull the tacho and you will see it clipped in the back. you will prob need to remove the steering wheel to get the tacho out, it just pulls straight out through the rubber ring; you may have to run a screwdriver behind it to loosen it off.. spray some wd40 on it before putting it back and it will go in easy as pie!

Usual thing started to remove sunday but didn't have a large enough socket to remove the boss nut the largest i had was 27mm any ideas wha i need

I think its 29 or 32, can't be much bigger as I did mine with a long spanner and dont have that many big ones..

top tip; dont fully remove the nut; just loose it off so theres a cm clearance or so between the steeringwheel and the back of the nut, then pull the steeringwheel.. it should slide smoothly off, however it might be stuck on a bit and I learned from painful experience with beetles and mini's that if you take the nut all the way off and yank the steering wheel, when it comes loose it tends to make a beeline for your face/teeth!.. if you leave the nut on a couple of turns it just bumps into the back of the nut
