OCD Wheel refresh

Ive worked out how to upload photos with imgur so thought i would share these. Also a new bonnet badge. Nuts sprayed and new centre caps all pointing to the valves. Ready for the summer now!

Looking good, however ………..
There is another theory on where these crests should point to that I heard from a well respected Porsche suspension specialist.
His quite logical explanation was that they are supposed to point to the locking wheel nuts, the reason being it made it easier to find the nut if ever changing a wheel in the dark.
He also mentioned Porsche wheels studs used to have one with red paint on it I think, this was for the locking nut.
He might also have said the valve should be opposite the locking nut, but can't remember exactly now.

Anyway not saying the way you have it is wrong, just an alternative explanation I heard on the positioning of these parts, anyone else heard this one ??

Nothing wrong with a bit of OCD although the idea of lining the crest up with the LW nut has drawn my attention to a design fault with my BMW - I line the centre cap up with the valve but this doesn't line up with a nut hole! All lines up on the 924 though
