Mike ,

Not David ,I know ,but you don't have to pass customs to gain entry-just mingle with us all & look Lancastrian ( that is unless you know Jeremy (Zeb on here) who claims to be a Yorkshire man on missionary work in Lancashire, but has assimilated a replica of Lancashire dialect to avoid being caught.

Just be happy that now 63 are sharing food for 62![:)]

Cheers vitesse. Thought I'd pop along to see how the better half live( I am a Lancastrian but live in yorkshire for my sins). Make yourself known if you see a tall good looking chap who looks like he has no mates. Mike.

Thanks to everyone who went to Porsche Centre Bolton last night. We had about 70 attendees in the end, as some hadn't let me know they hey were attending. We all enjoyed an impressive display of cars, and a good talk by John Bradshaw MD at Road & Race who had done the bodywork on the 924 GT which was PC Bolton's entry in the national Porsche Centre restoration competition. Road and Race had also been selected by Porsche to restore the 924 Carrera GTP which raced at Le Mans, and has been featured in many Porsche magazines of late, and John told us about how this project had unfolded.

Thanks to Porsche Centre Bolton staff for their help in making this evening a success and for providing an excellent hot buffet, and quiz prizes. A full report will be in December Porsche Post and images will soon be on the R18 Facebook page

Yes, I echo David's comments completely, what a great night. What an eclectic collection of modern Porsches were on display too - Cayman GT4 race car, 911R, 911 GT3RS, Boxster Spyder, 911 turbo S and many more.

Great turn out from Region 18 too.

Thanks to David and Porsche Centre Bolton.

I was hoping to pick up the purple GT3 RS as a quiz prize but sadly it was lego......and I didn't even win that......[:'(]

Really good evening and I was glad to be there!!!! It was good to catch up with everybody and many thanks for the good wishes-I intend to hang around a bit longer yet!!

I'd echo those comments-twas a really great evening event-sorry not to pick you out,Mike, but given your forum name,I expected you would be holding a big sign-speak to me -I'm a Lancastrian, doing missionary work in Yorkshire.[:D]

Also good to see Albert-looking fine.

May I add our thanks for a great evening and for the warm welcome that our region 5 contingent received. You had some fabulous cars there for us to see and we enjoyed the talk, the quiz and your generous, friendly hospitality.

I was was delighted with my Boxster Spyder that I won in your quiz, it makes up for my currently empty garage, which hopefully won't be empty for too much longer.

We look forward to meeting you all again soon.

Martin & Jemma
