Does anybody recognise it/have one? I have the normal 944 style wheel, but really like the look of this one..Any ideas who to approach to acquire one.?
Cheers,

isnt it a standard 944 late wheel
looks like the one I took off my 91 944 turbo cab - replaced with a RS wheel thats a lot nicer {IMHO}

I've often wondered if there were any UK 944s with an airbag, maybe right at the end of production?

I know they were offered for years beforehand in the US and they were on 968's in the UK, but I've yet to see a genuine UK 944 with factory airbag

ORIGINAL: Black_JPN

ORIGINAL: Riverside

It's the standard airbag wheel.

Huge, great things they were back then!
Bl00dy ugly too, in my book.

And if you have an airbag wheel, isn't it a real pain to change it? So swapping for a nice Momo item would be an expensive exercise ...

Oli.

If its a hassle then I doubt Ill pursue it. I just think it fits better with the theme of the interior than the standard non airbag offering. Mine just doesnt look or feel chunky enough..

Suppose Ill have to look into the CS option..app that is a nice wheel..

Cheers

TBH I was a little peeved when I went to view the car intially, the owner had put the advert with the CS wheel on in it.. He took it off before I turned up and I had to mention that I noticed it was missing. [:mad:] . Cue embarrassed seller and me immediately trying to barter the price down the £250 it would cost for a new one!..

Which whilst semi succesful I didnt come away with the wheel.. which I now want! [:)]
