"Wood" removed from interior because it wasn't really wood and it was delaminating badly.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Did you relly have to park it there, then put up a sign in the background telling people to "Stop and Look" ? [:D][:D][:D]

I didn't notice that [:D]. I once took some pics of my Ibiza TDi in that same place and posted them on a SEAT forum only to be told "I know it's a diesel, but you don't have to do request stops in it".[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]New location required for future I think.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Looks like a very nice rice.

Have heard many great reports about handling and fun factor, how does it compare to the legend?

Looks nice Mr C. I take it you'd just had those GSD3's fitted?

Echoing John's comments - tactility report purleez. [:)]

Yep, the GSD3's went on yesterday (for £193 fitted - BlackCircles) because it came with a different tyre on each corner.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]That being the case until yesterday morning and me being ridiculously busy I haven't tried the handling really. I have done something like 72 miles in the car, 40 of which were bringing it home.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I'm working this weekend, but when I get home I hope it will be dry and I can set th tyre pressures as recommended by the MX5OC and have a play. Initial impressions are that it feels like a kart compared to a 944, but it is very slow in a straight line [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

My very first trackday in the S2 was at Donington and I was in a group with about a dozen members of the MX5OC. I remember being lapped consistently all morning by the MX5s as they all passed me nose to stern about 10 ft from eachother and I had to lift off for a long time on the straights to let them all past. One old boy took great delight in chatting to me in the pits about how nimble his car was compared to my 'expensive' lumbering beast [:D]

By the afternoon I'd had some instruction, and had got much faster, but the same friendly MX5s suddenly became less friendly as I caught them up and they refused to indicate nicely and pull over (like I had all morning) [8|]

I also remember how Andrew S turned up late in his 2.8, missed the briefing and went straight out to overtake people on the wrong side getting black flagged in the process. Race drivers eh? [:D]
