As you may know the winner of the charity raffle to have their car detailed was Geoff Sharples, but as he was in New Zealand when Sue called him at the monthly meeting, and wouldn't be back, the prize was raffled off with the highest bidder being Ian Mann. Ian's car will have been undergoing treatment for a couple of days and will be finished off on Sunday.

sorry but can't make this, will be taxiing children to parties and a football match. Hope you all have a good time.

Don't read a paper, nor watch terrestrial tv, so how was I to know that that clocks went forward last night! If it wasn't for my neighbour I would have been an hour late at Charnock Richard wondering where everyone was. As it happens the sore throat has now become a cold so perhaps a good thing. The 'Shed' was looking a little scruffy so wouldn't have looked good alongside all the shiny cars.
Did Mac stay outside on the lookout just in case someone tried to pinch his valve caps?

Cheers,

Fred,
And there's me thinking that the region18 technophobe would have a computer driven feather toe tickler to wake him up.Didn't notice Mac watching his valvecaps,I was too entranced with Matt & his polishing m/c.[:)]

Colin,
Nothing fancy, just an alarm clock. I suppose you could say that I don't keep up with the times!
Getting yourself a polishing machine then, Nick will be round at your house visiting even more often no doubt.

Cheers,

Typical...they can put men on the moon but cannot invent a hindle proof alarm clock...[:D]

Actually is was a good day. George and I came from over lytham way and "scooped" up sue &mac on the way and we all got to charnock richard services with our licences intact[;)]. Cannonball run down to liverpool which was nice but dean held me up most of the M58[:D]...off your marks were very good and informative and put on a very enjoyable day.....oh and someone had a damned shiny car by the end of the day!

many thanks to the organisers and the peeps at off yer marks

A very good day. The demonstration was impressive and the food and company excellent.
Ian followed us down the road in his seriously shiny car, and we were nearly blinded by his reflected glory.[:)]
Grateful thanks to Matthew and his team.........................and to think I nearly didn't go.
Sue

Alarm clock works Zeb but not set for British Summer Time unfortunately.

Sounds like I missed a really good day out.

So it is the Whitby run for fish 'n' chips next month. I'll have alterec all the clocks by then so hopefully I should be there.

(By the way Zeb just been out on the bike for the first time since the minor oops last October, didn't fall off it this time).
Cheers,

Nice one fred..its always a bit of a tester the first time back out on 2 wheels after an off........I speak from bitter experience (X4 !!!!)[;)]
