Offsets (again...!)

Chap is selling some 18" BSA rims on ebay, but doesn't know the offsets. He tells me it does actually say 'et' on the back of them, but there is no numbers after it? He also says that a) it says pcd 90 on the back and that b) he had them on an '86 944 with 20mm spacers (on the front I think). If that's the case, should they fit my '89 Turbo? Thanks

Unlikely I'd say. '86 cars need spacers all round to use '87- wheels. If the rears fitted an '86 with no spacers then they will sit 35mm or so (I think it's 35) further out on your '89 car. the fronts would sit roughly the same less the thickness of the spacer used on the early car.

I don't think 90 is the right PCD either. Again my memory seems to have deserted me, but I think the right PCD is 130.
