Offside Rear Fog Lamp

Just a little tale that might help someone one day. MOT man was tempted to fail my '07 S as there was no offside rear fog lamp illuminated. We stripped out the light holder and it wasn't a bulb issue. A bit more digging and found the connector to the bulb holder had no wire for the fog lamp. So it had never worked ! Through 2 Porsche customer delivery inspections (OPC Guildford confirmed a UK spec car), 2 Porsche services and 1 MOT ! I think the fact I was onto OPC Guildford straight away (and maybe because they'd passed it last year ...) pragmatic MOT man (thank heavens there are still pragmatic MOT men) passed on 'pain' of fixing asap.

OPC Guildford promptly rectified (FOC). Seems it is not a totally unknown fault and will teach me not to be casual about a pre MOT light check !
