Sorry about this, me and me bloody wheels again...

I was having a look on the watercooler site http://www.cantonia.com/wheel_offset.html

Now, would I be right in thinking that as i run a '90 944 turbo, with the M030 option that I should be looking at ofsets of 65F and 60R?

yours confused

Matt

I think I've read elsewhere that this site has some errors on it. I believe they should all say 52.3mm, but I might be wrong and just confusing you further... []

60 and 65 sound wrong.

Best thing to do is check your existing Design 90's. The ET number is stamped on them on the OUTER edge - either side of the valve. I believe the numbers will be closer to pae's comment. (S2 design 90's are narrower at 7/8" where you have 7.5/9", but my wheels are ET53 and ET55 (from memory, and I can't remember which is which) [&:]

mik is right.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]As a rule of thumb: There are only 2 hub types used on the 944; pre-'87 and post-'87. Pre '87 cars geberally use wheels with ET's in the 20's and later hub cars use wheels in the ET50 range.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]There are slight exceptions such as I believe the 17x7.5" 968 front wheel was ET63, but as the numbers refer to mm then there isn't a great deal of difference and in general terms for wheel upgrades ET55 works for all sizes up to 9" front and 10" rear on a late 944. The same thing goes for early ones but the ET then is 23 or so.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
