Oh my God, I'm in love....!

Aaahhhhhhhhh .... so it is!

So, would everyone with £350,000 to spare please form an orderly queue. Behind, um, someone other than me ...

Oli.

Nice but too pricey for a P400.
You could find an equally restored SV for this price.
This is one of my dream cars but since they are impossible to drive why would people even bother buying a restored one ... *running for cover*.

Very nice but at 350k if i had that money i would ditch the mortgage buy a 993 Turbo 4, and spend a fortune on the 944, and take a good holkiday, oh and put the rest in the bank though that might not be a good idea with the left over in this present climate.
Which reminds me that my credit card with Capitol One is about to jump to 25 odd % APR, Time to ditch that lot methinks!.

Its lovely, but you couldn't drive it with confidence. A museum piece only.

A Carrera GT would be cheaper and it would also start in the mornings, or whenever you wanted to drive it.

Nahhh! If you could afford to buy it then I'm pretty sure you'd afford the appropriate insurance to be able to 'exercise' it as it was intended - oh and to be able to afford the non-stop maintenance and keeping those carbs balanced....!![:D]

That is sooooo nice but.. I think they had a habit of catching fire.. ...!

Is that the same sort of car that was at the start of the original "Italian Job"....?

Oh yes, with Matt Munro warbling in the background....

Yes, the catching fire thing might be an inconvenience....[:D]

I rest my case[;)]

The test would to see how far you could get from home before it broke down. Remember that Top Gear couldn't get 3 £10K Italian supercars from Bristol to Slough, one of which was suposed to have had a rebuilt engine. Mind you they did try and deliberatly break them by changing the oil, incompetantly, half way.

This one is for looking at, not for driving.

Its pretty as a picture and probably best that way rather than as a real life experience [;)]

Well they do say that you should never meet your heroes....

..whoever 'they' are?![8|]
