hi
does anyone know a good website that shows step by step fitting of an oil catch can to a 944 turbo? i have bought this

as i want to reduce crank case pressure so i would like to know if there any existing crank and rocker case breathers (i think thats were it goes) that i can t-piece into?

help would be welcomed
thanks

Rick The pipework is dead easy - the location of the tank is more difficult. The crankcase breather connects to the rubber j-boot that attaches to the turbo inlet. This rubber pipe connects to a metal pipe that goes back to the AOS (air-oil separator) at the back of the engine. All you need to do is to re-route that rubber hose via the catch tank. I put one on mine for a while - I haven't got an airbox or AFM, so it was easy to locate the catch tank, but you can see where the hoses route in this pic

The Vitesse MAF fitment doesn't look great (wires side by the headlight mechanism, dump valve hose...). Have you managed to improve it or the design prevents from a better fitment ?

I think the angle of the picture is deceptive - the wires don't go anywhere near the headlight mechanism in practice (that bit drops down when the lights pop up) the dumpvalve is an aftermarket item that's a bit bigger than stock - was a bit of a squeeze getting hoses at the angles I needed.

Thanks. So it might be worth switching to a MAF pipe. I finally found a paper cone filter which could fit to avoid running a k&n one
