oil change???

hi guys changed the oil on my beloved today (91 c4) when i opened the oil tank water came out and then the oil,is that whats suppose to happen???it had not been changed for about 12 months and i was shocked to see water comin out of my car.anyway still got great oil pressure and she runs great hope one of you guys can help and happy new year to all
 
Lol [:(] No it's not supposed to happen but then again it's not unheard of. Change the oil more frequently if you only drive short journeys or never get the engine up to operating temp' for extended periods. It's condensation caused by not running the engine for long enough periods at a sustained high temperature, try and avoid this, thrash the bugger weekly and things should be OK. Did you drain the sump too?
 
yeh did the sump and put new oil in her like i say good oil pressure about 2.5 when hot and tickin over must change oil more reg cheers
