Hi Elwyn,

I changed my Oil and filter last week. I used Mobil1 0w-40 New Life (2 x 5ltrs) and a Mann Filter. If you are a Costco Member then the Mobil1 is currently £30 per 5ltrs, otherwise Opie oils online offer a good price. The Mann filter was from Eurocarparts at £3.70. An easy job to do.

thanks, just got the car and have her in my work shop, very happy with the car, good service history , just cleaned out the radiators and have the plastic guards of, give her light spray with waxoil, cleaned brake pipes etc, good life still in brake pads, she has not had the ims brg done and has75000 miles done so shall check filter, let you know how things are, regards elwyn

Sounds like a solid car. I've only had mine for 18months and so far it has been fantastic. No issues whatsoever. The rear tyres are beginning to look a little near the wear indicators though :) Good luck with the oil change.

Hi, I ran mine on Mobil 1 0W 40 for a long while but noticed it was running quite rough and noisy sounding. Mine only has 54K miles so enquired about different oil during last service. Having now changed to Mobil 10W 50, under garages recommendation, I'm so much happier with its running. The engine sounds and performs much smoother. Good luck. John

thanks john, i have used 0w 40, Agip, porsche in Belfast advised, so shall watch and listen, the filter i changed was spotless , so happy with that,
