oil cooler fitment 951

Evening all ! Having fitted an oil temp sensor in the sump ive noticed the oil temp creep up to 115c at the ring and spa. Now i know this is the hottest the oil will get prior to being picked up then cooled, filtered and run back into the engine = according to the clarks garage schematic. Before i start on this project (planning to run it in series with OE cooler), a couple of questions:

1. Has anyone else done this with success or issues ?

2. Does anyone know the flow direction of oil through the factory cooler ? In at the top out at the bottom or vice versa ?

115c is still ok oil temp no need to cool it further.....

1. Yes, no problem. As you know I fitted a Setrab cooler on the other side

2. Can't remember, have a feel for which hose gets hottest first. From memory I think it is top hose in, which was not what I expected.

3. 115C sounds OK - you're obviously not trying hard enough...
