Oil Cooler Problem

I am having the front end of my car resprayed at the moment, the body shop have the front bumper/spoiler assembly off and I notice that around the base of the oil coller is a small residual of old oil gung.

This does not seem to be damp and I do not have any oil on the floor under the front end when the car is left after a run, the car has covered 100k. Do I have an oil cooler leak or is a small amount of gung normal in this area ?
