oil in water and high oil pressure

Its a 1986 2.5 8v its recently had skimmed head and new gaskets and seals[head,oilcooler ect ]oil pressure switch has been replaced,compression is 12 bar on all cylinders.Oil pressure on tickover when hot is 4.5 bar has this blown the o ring oil seals on the cooler?Im stumped has anybody got any ideas on whats going on with my baby?
 
Luxes did have a problem with the oil to water heat exchanger seals and these were subsequently changed. IIRC the originals were red and the later version were green, but it may be ther other way around. This may be worth looking into as it isn't an uncommon problem.
