oil leak from sump

Hi All,
Need some advise as I rather think that I am being ripped off. I took my 2009 Cayenne S to the main dealer for a service and they said that I have some oil leak around the oil sump. They said that they need to change it. Total cost £1700.
When I enquired who so expensive they said they need 12 hours labour.
I asked a Porsche independent specialist and they said it requires 18 hours labour!!!
Seriously?????
Is this right?
