Oil Leak

I seem to be experiencing some oil seepage from my 01 996TT. I know that some earlier Turbos were subject to this problem. Anyone have any experience, and did Porsche GB fix the problem?

Gary, you have only just got the beastie, me thinks a warranty trip to your OPC is in order. I'm not aware of oil issue's specifically on the 996TT, but rear main oil seals seem to be a regular 996 problem, my OPC had three goes at fixing the problem on a previous C2 !! Cheap part, expensive labour, let us know how you get on.

To be fair OPC so far has reacted brilliantly, picked car up this morning and carted off for inspection, under warranty. Hope to hear later today. Hoping not too drastic

The joys of cars !!!!
Mine has just spent a week in the OPC trying to track down a battery drain that keeps causing "dead car syndrome". Am taking the liberty of fitting a cargraphic sports exhaust system at the same time, I hope we don't need ear plugs !!! best of luck with yours.
Regards
Grant
