oil leak

Drove my 996 out of the garage today and spotted a smallish pudddle of oil on the floor. Oil level is down to min (was fine yesterday). I'm suspecting am RMS failure. Any thoughts? Also can you advise what the oil pressure should look like on start-up as it seems to be right up at 5 - is this normal - I've never bothered to look before?
