Oil leak

Hi,

I noticed a slight drop in the electronic oil measure, and having looked under the car, there does seem like a lot of oil residue around the back of the engine (further back than RMS). A friend has advised it is likely to be the gasket by the oil pump.
Its booked into the OPC, but I was hoping if someone could advise if this is common and a no quibble warranty issues.
The car is an 06 C2 (24k miles) and under Porsche warranty.

I'm please to hear of a good outcome for you...
I've not seen too many of the Front seal failing!!
