oil level sender

I have an oil change planned for the weekend and whilst I'm in there I'm going to do the level sender as a precaution as I'm not 100% confident in its accuracy.


Part is already here but I'm struggling to find anything that illustrates exactly where the unit is on the engine?


Anyone been there and can point me in the right direction?


Is this fitted from the bottom or top?

Mark,

Sender unit is sited below the oil filler so should be accessible from the top, I would have thought.
