Oil level Sensor light delete

Hi everyone
I need to short out or ground my oil level sensor light. It is on all the time and it trigers the red warning ! light. I have no oil level sensor and so the best solution is to stop the warning light coming on. I have wiring diagrams but unfortunately cannot fathom out the wire colours or connections.
The engine is not Porsche. Please do not suggest fitting an oil level sensor.
Any help is appreciated.
UPDATE: Apparently it is a yellow and white wire that can be accessed from under the dashboard. This wire can be spliced and grounded?
Someone else suggested running the yellow/white wire at the instrument cluster connector to the green/white DME connector then a ground to the engine block.
TIA

If the switch is open circuit when alarming - grounded when it detects oil then grounding the wire should work - it may be a resistance value rather than a direct ground though to extinguish the warning.

The Porsche 948 Handbook mentions brown for oil level switch but that may be the PCM harness side rather than the car! Hopefully someone with access to a level switch and a multi meter might be along soon.

I would be tempted to modify the sump to take the level switch though - cant be too careful!

PS How are you finding the car and have you done many miles since the conversion?
