Has anyone removed and replaced the oil return tubes ,oil lines the oil tank & front cooler.
I have removed these items (only wanted to replace the complete exhaust system & oil return tubes)
When refitting how do you get the air out of the pipes so no air locks

Had my oil cooler off a few times to sort out a small leak I did a DIY as a temp fix about 4 years ago till I found a good replacement I have just bought a new one from germany so that will be going on when the weather warms up but have never had a air lock in the system I have just filled the cooler up as far as i can then fitted, after filling the oil tank up I then ran the car till she warms up keeping an eye on the level, The front oil cooler never comes in till the thermostat opens up so you need it warm
PS as Beaky said try the Impact Bumpers forum

Thanks for that information .
My friend has broken off one of the threaded connections on the cooler today .
I hope it can be soldered back on will try a place that fixed a petrol tank on a car I sold a month ago.

I did the same and had to replace all the connectionswhen I was getting car part restored
Best of luck
