Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure switch is situated on the 924 engine block please?I've found the oil pressure sender at the rear of the head but can't find the switch.
What's the difference between the sender and the switch?

It is on the sender, it has two conections. Chances are the eye is still attached to the sender but has broken away from the wire.

Hmm, i bought this oil pressure switch off fleabay to put on my 924 but i can't see it by the sender.

Should look like this roughly, as I just drew it in Corel photo paint

You may have part number 021 919 081B, which is listed on pet as a sender but I don't know what in the world it is used for. Any Porsche 924 2.0 I have worked on has has had part 047 919 561; that's a 1978 N/asp, 1981 (Tu), 1982 (Tu), and a 1983 N/asp. 047 919 561 actually has a 4mm stud and a five mm stud for the electrtical connections.
