Oil Smell through air con into cabin

I don't use my Cayenne as much as I used to, so sits in the garage for a week or two at a time, then a longish run on the weekend. Last run 2 weeks ago from Essex down into Kent, no problems. This morning I decided to take it on my 7 mile station commute, ran perfectly, but when I parked up at the station I got a distinct whiff of oil through into the cabin. No indication of lack of oil pressure or temperature, no oil smoke from the exhaust, just the smell in the cabin. Any ideas before a call to the OPC?

Update: Slight whiff on way home from station after about 3 miles, then disappeared. Have done another short, 8 mile drive and no obvious smell. A bit of a mystery....

Mine is in the garage with the exact same issue, turns out to be a very small leak from the cam cover gasket right at the back against the bulkhead it took a while to spot it all done now.

Thanks for that, will get mine checked. Not noticed anything since, but keeping an eye on oil consumption....

We had the oily smell on our Cayenne Turbo - would be more apparent coming to a stop a the lights with the aircon running.
Turned out to be the rocker gaskets leaking oil onto the hot exhaust and the fumes being ingested into the vehicle.
Relatively inexpensive fix for our local indie to sort.
Now just need to find out where all the fuel is going! Only getting 10/20 mpg when on a run

That mpg generally comes from a heavy right foot, know the feeling well.
