Saw this on Ebay - can you shed any light?

Ok - realise the pics not big but its an engine in the back of a 12 with a strange fan arrangement that is bolted onto the stock air filters!

Well that is a very un-porsche looking addition, can only imagine it' s someones attempt to produce a Death Valley proof cooling system...

Failing that maybe a microlight rear ended them?

Now i realise its a James Bond style swamp skimmer, that Q sure is clever...
Bet the paintwork is ' stealthy' too... guess Boss Hogg ain' t never gonna catch that boy in that theya macheeen!

Maybe its to help blow away the oil vapours from the standard oil leaks or maybe they were trying to replicate the ' 70s Alfa fan F1 car and help stick the rear end down!
