Ok, colour choice...

Ok, I'm going to do it! After numerous years of dreaming/wishing/lusting after a 993... I have found... THREE that are in equally amazing spec/condition/etc. Talk about waiting for the bus!

The dilemma is... which colour?

Here are the options:
1) Zenith Blue with black leather
2) Ocean blue with grey leather
3) Arctic silver with black...

The Arctic Silver is classic (common?), the Ocean blue real nice, and the Zenith blue... a touch of sophistication?

I'm totally puzzled and need your vote/thoughts. Cheers!

ps. I couldn't help but think how privileged we are... I still remember the time I looked for my 1st ever car and was happy that it would have a couple of seats, a motor, and a good set of wheels... it was a sobering and made-me-feel-grateful-thought as I wandered around the various 993s faced with this kind of dilemma!

The way I see it:

Ocean blue / Grey - lovely combination (You don't say which grey it is, but you will struggle if you want to update any of the interior bits and pieces - black is a far better colour for this)

Arctic silver / Black - Nice choice.

Zenith blue / Black - Not sophisticated at all - Maurice's is Zenith Blue [;)]

(Mine in Midnight Blue / marble grey)

I would go for one of the blues but then I am biased.

... THREE that are in equally amazing spec/condition/etc. ...

I don't believe you [:D] ... are there no differences between the cars? ... model year, manual vs tiptronic, 2 or 4 wheel drive, widebody or narrow body, wheels fitted, mileage, service history ........... and most importantly condition.

All the colours you have to choose from are safe colours for re-sale so if you have no preference I would concentrate on the list above instead.

I would choose Arena Red, since there isn't Arena Red among the three, I would walk away [8D]......Just joking.
I find it hard to believe that all the 993 are the same apart from the colour, I would recommend checking the options list of each car.

Hmmm... decisions decisions...

OK - following an independent inspection... the ocean blue is actually a '98 reg (W chassis). But is that classic grey leather just a bit too... well, GREY? (no sports seats)

The Zenith blue... nice one Maurice, the cognoscenti do indeed know! And with those black leather sports seats... Mmmmm...

So here are the current standings...
1) Z.Blue
2) Deep blue
3) the silver...
10) Guards red [;)]

Ok, so there are minor trim differences (ie, CD changer/type of seats) but the condition and history of all 3 are excellent. The asking prices are near identical, the [verifiable] mileage within 1000 miles of each other, all dealer supplied with warranty.

Any further thoughts?

Also - I came across a lovely Targa... any thoughts on the Targa over the C4 for touring/non-track use?
