Hi all - does anyone know where I can find more info about the Oldtimers GP at the Nurburgring in August please? Is this a chance to drive our own 356's on the circuit? What does it cost? etc. etc.

Many thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon

Contact Steve Kevlin at Club Office, or Eoin Sloan. Details in Porschefile.

Have fun

This years OTGP will be over the August 10, 11, 12th weekend. You should contact Steve Kevlin at club office on 01608 652917 to enquire about tickets for the Porsche Hospitality package. They are £165 per person and that gives you parking in the circuit with other 356's and full entry tickets to all garndstands and paddock as well as the Porsche hospitality unit which serves all food and drink included in the price for the three days. Be warned that the tickets are snapped up quickly as the hospitality unit can only accommodate so many people. You should be able to use the Nordschleife on Sunday but it is often very busy as there are many people there for the weekend. There is camping availble at the Mullenbach Campsite which has its own entry into the circuit, you may need to book and the campsite tends to be noisy at night. This late in the year it may be difficult to find hotels or guest houses try the Nurburgring or Nuerburgring website for accommodation. You dont have to be part of the Porsche hospitality if you dont want to, just turn up and pay to park and buy an entry ticket at the gates but you wont get the full Porsche package. It is a great weekend for Classic motorsport.

Have to agree with Robin ..buy the Porsche hospitallity package well worth it ,a crowd off us Scots go every year and think it value as we normally drink £165 worth on the Gala night alone [:D][:D][:D] serious you get so much value being able to go where the public are excluded ,and a couple off laps round the Ring is a must
