Hi Steve

If you go on to some of his other footage such as GT3 racing at the 'Ring its clear that he is a very handy racer. Well spotted.

Thats Jules Perry very well known on ringers forum. I think he finished 6th or 9th can't remember which in the ring 24hr race a few years back in a manthey GT3 cup car. The black 64RS is known as "The Noise" .It does low 8min ring times ! He's on pistonheads as well under another moniker. Have chated to him on the forum though not actually met, nice guy.

I had some fun with him at Bedford last year. With a pretty aggressive suspension set up and on Cups, he pulled away quite comfortably in the twisty bits (I was on Marangoni road tyres, so lost a lot on braking and in the corners), though interestingly I had the legs on him on the straight thanks to some of Colin 9m's extra ponies. I think Jules actually put up some Youtube footage of that day - I'm the other black rs reg J500 RSL.
Jules had another Guards '64 rs which was sold on Pistonheads for a very reasonable price last year if I remember rightly. He was racing a GT3 Cup in the VLN series last season partnering Tim Raven.

Nice bit of driving, very controlled and predictable.

He almost looks bored!!!!

A lot of people could learn about his pace down the pit lane..........
