One touch opening of roof and windows on 718

Is there a way to enable one touch opening of both roof and side windows?

When I press and hold the unlock button the roof opens and windows drop slightly, and then windows go back to the up position.

I‘d prefer both roof and windows to open.

One touch closing works fine, roof and side windows both close.

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Graham,

Mine was always quite temperamental too and you had to be fairly close to the car with the key to get it to operate.

Thanks Matt - although it always works in that the roof opens, but the windows never go down!
Did your windows go down with the one touch?

What happens if you stand by the car and hold the unlock button down permanently. It will definitely open your windows and unlock the car but I think it might open the roof as well? If it does you can reverse the operation with the lock button to close them too.

Pressing the "unlock" button and holding it down leads to the windows dropping a little, the roof folding down and away and then the windows will go up a little.
Same in reverse if open and you press and hold the "lock" button.

I am not aware of a "one-touch" operation feature.

Graham,

Just a thought but maybe it's something which can be activated via PIWIS?

Hope it's not clouding your enjoyment of the new car.

That‘s exactly what mine does.

No, Jeff it’s not spoiling my enjoyment in the slightest, and if that’s the way it works, so be it. If the was a way to make the windows go down as well as the roof it would be nice. If there isn’t, I’ll cope!
