Looks like i'm going to need some new rear tyres on my d90's shortly.Does anyone know any decent online tyre retailers?

Yup, i can also vouch for mytyres.co.uk

Excellent service, great prices, good variety of tyres to pick through, brilliantly easy website.

No, i don't work there.

I'm having 2 new rear tyres fitted tomorrow. I've chosen Toyo's over Goodyear Eagle F1's (which are fitted at the moment and am very happy with) I run Toyo's on the Rover. My local tyre company are in the region of £30.00 per tyre cheaper than those mentioned above so I think I won't be buying online.

Spoke to a local garage today they have rear bf goodrich g-force profilers at around 150 for the two.Anyone got any opinions of Goodrich tyres?

My Turbo came with BFs fitted on the 17" Turbo Twists. I was glad to get rid of the rears when they wore out, the BFs were noisy & almost as hard as Fen's favourite P6000s.

I nearly said "American straight-line tyres", then I realised that was only received wisdom from several years ago and may no longer be correct, but maybe it would have been fair after all.

Hi Fen.
No it isn't Acorn. I think the reason Ken doesn't rate Toyo's is because he isn't a dealer for them and can't match the prices.[:-]

Somewhere on here is a recent thread about geometry set up, see my comments and draw your own conclusions as to my choice of tyre suppliers.
