Only 410K Miles

The price is, er, ambitious. But I suppose it must be one of the highest mileage 911s in the world at nearly.700,000 km, so it's pretty unique.

Interesting car - one owner, used daily for a 100 mile round trip commute. Not sure about the interior though..

3.2 Carreras are often regarded as the toughest 911s ever, with galvanising, over-engineered build quality, and the 'Club Sport' should be the toughest of the lot, with the 'blueprinted' engine, and lightweight simplified specification (less to go wrong).

If that's the car I think it is (how many can there be with that mileage?) it's also done a good few laps of the ring - about 10,000 of them if I'm not mistaken! Steve Darnell will know for sure.

That interior is pretty horrid [:'(]

Not sure it's worth more than low £teens and with that interior and pounding under it's belt I wouldn't go there even if it was [:D]

Andy,

That's not the 'track car' you are thinking of.

The autofarm one is road miles and the interior could be returned to original.

There are several Club Sports that have very high mileages, many on track, and they wear it very well.

Be interesting to know what the total cost of ownership has been for almost 20 years of long distance commuting. OK, who cares because you are drivinng a nice car, but I wonder if doing the same in a series of "ordinary", high depreciation, boring cars would cost less or more. I suspect this may have been good value for miles.

If we know who the owner was we should try to get an article for PP

I bet this is the CS that was featured in 911 & PW a couple of years ago, at that point it had about 350,000 miles on the clock. Chap who owned it was getting on a bit (I hope I didn't do him a disfavour) and has been properly looked after.

Still a very nice car, but £25K!!!! I thought maybe half that.

It certainly won't be half. The most recently sold CS I'm aware of went for £37k. Several owners, far from concourse with circa 100k miles.

This car is indeed well know to the register and the owner is straight as a die. It recieved all the right attention at all the right time and as far as I know has not seen any track time from the current owner. As has been mentioned, it was a daily driver and as such was regularly to be seen commuting up and down the M40 in it's life.

£25K ? - about right (if you like the trim and can live with the mileage)

I know for a fact that Francis Tuthills has done a fair amount on the car so it will be solid and sorted.

[&:]Truth or Rumour:- the G50 gearbox isn't even run in until you pass the 50kmile mark - I heard this somewhere but have no evidence to support... any ideas anyone ?
