I’m trying to find my mum’s old Porsche 944. It was a silver 1987 car and ran the distinctive plate OO1 944. Does anyone have any info on it?

Yes. The registration is showing on a 1987 Porsche 944 in Silver and is taxed until 6th August, 2017!

Interesting - thanks, guys. I see the mileage has remained relatively low. My mum hardly drove it and it was always garaged. I do hope it's with an enthusiast.
