OPC Classic servicing

Had the membership pack through from Porsche Bristol last week, which was timely as my car needed an MoT and service to get it back on the road for the spring. Usual great service, but most pleasing was the bill (not something that usually meets this criterion!) - less than £360 for small service, including oil and filters and the MoT.

They're charging £60 ph for labour and £40 for an MoT. The 993 series now qualifies. And no I haven't been paid to post this!

Allowing for the mot, at around £300 for oil and filters is that so great?

Did they do much else?

I tend to get away with just over 1/2 that at the recognised Porsche specialist I use.

Have to say the labour rate looks very competitive @ £60.

Breaks down as:

£91 for oil (Castrol Edge Professional)
£22 for main & supplementary oil filters
£5 for other small parts
£156 for labour inc minor service (12000 mile/annual)

All plus the dreaded VAT, plus £40 for MoT.

Seems pretty reasonable, especially with the official stamp in the handbook
