Thought I would give a quick shout out to my not so local OPC in Edinburgh, oil leak discovered a few weeks back when it was in for an oil change and filter. I live 60 miles away and they offered a pick up and drop off service to me as they had no courtesy car available for the week it was booked in. So guy arrives on the day via the train, takes car, I get it back 2 days later, all fixed and dropped him back at the station for another train back. The total cost £150.00. I know it had not been hammered up and down to Edinburgh because of the remaining fuel. I think that is not bad value for money to be honest and a first class service. [:)]

I thought so, I am in no way associated with them other than as a customer. I don't know if posts like this are frowned upon as a plug, but I know OPC dealers get occasional stick about prices, but it's not always the case. And a shout out ehere credit is due can only be a good thing.

Positive comments are always welcome.
There should be no posts criticising/libelling anyone as, I believe, it can cause legal problems for PCGB.

Are there any formal club guidelines on this please ?

On the Forum home page, the second major heading says: "Forum rules", maybe that'd be a good place to start?

A always say try your local OPC FIRST

At least it will give yuu an idea of price - 2 years warranty and often FIXED price
