Is anyone else playing on 12 th June at Archerfield with Edinburgh OPC?

I questionned my invite. I think I got the "token bird" invitation.
Just as long as I get to play off the ladies tee's in return.

In which case I hope you drub them all hollow! ... but please dont wear checked trousers and a Pringle jersey, you'll look like a Quantity Surveyor [:D]

Looks like I am teeing off behind you, I am either 1100 or 1110 hrs, can't remember.

Need to remember to leave extra early for the 5 minute drive to the course[:D]
 
I golfed my socks off yesterday! It was a cracking day. Great golf, great company, great course. Clubhouse - wowee!!

HOw did you play William?
 
The clubhouse is something else, very colonial in feel. Sorry never got a chance to say hello, but as you said a great day and the rain stayed off.

Now the excuses[:D] As this was my first 18 holes of golf in 8 months I was quite pleased with my score. Loved the greens, very fast but true, although hit my first putt on the first green about 10 feet past[:)].

JohnH - Alison looked lovely in her burberry cap, pringle jumper with diamonds and pink plus fours - can't say the girl doesn't have style[:D] (I'm now in trouble for that one)
 
Pathetic attempt. You see, had you slagged off my driving (not driving as in porsche, as in golf!), I may have taken the bait and attempted to retaliate, but criticism of my dress sense is not something that concerns me.

And John, seriously, let us not talk about co-ordinating shirts, shoes and cars. Nuff said

I'm away to vent my disappointment on some poor balls. (golf ones abviously) [sm=kiss.gif]
