sorry i have the terrable habbit of presuming everyone knows me.

i live Ashby-de-la-Zouch so will be traveling from there.

sorry, its my ignorance more than anything..
now i used to think ashby de la zouch was near newark, but ive been rectified on that matter recently!..

i live just on the leicester end of the A50 near the Audi Garage so you're more than welcome to convoy from there if you like? i have to pick a friend up but i can do that first if needs be to save both of us travelling around leicesters delightful ring road, unless you would like to give the car a run (im hoping you're bringing the delicious 911t [:D] ) in which case we can meet and then pick her up on the way past..

give me a ring if you want to organise something

Hi,

Which night is this?

Pete

tomorrow night. (by invitation from opc don't know if its a open invite...) but i got a spare ticket if anyone wants to be my navigator [:)]

I believe it's the opening night to the (invited?) public. There might be a very nice newly built white 964 race car there if it has been finished on time. Not mine unfortunately. Normally around on a Thurs evening but this week no go.

Ian.

This is invite only. The invites were sent from Porsche GB. If you dont have an invite then you will not be allowed in. They have a list of invited people. So dont turn up if you are not on the list.

To get an invite Porsche need your address. The Club cant give it out (data protection) so you must have had some contact with Leicester as a customer etc for them to have your details. My invite did not turn up and I had to chase it because my home address and club address had been combined, so please it is nothing personal. RO

Ive been in there twice a week for the last 3 weeks getting parts, and the parts manager (I think his name is Stephen Murray; he's a good guy) popped my name down for a ticket..

Im sure as Patrick said its just a case of being on their system

Thanks for the Offer Ben. but have chickened out of going out on my own this evening. when i don't know where i'm going.

I have spoken to the guys at Leicester ,today being the first opportunity, and they will accept a few without invites. When asked for your name at the door just say that either Alan Dennis or myself Patrick Bower knows about it.

Had a great evening yesterday, loads of very nice cars, and probably the tallest female sax player in the world?!.. The new GT2 looks amazing!!!

The workshops strangely resembled my dream garage, with '73 RS's, 356's, Champagne and Canape's!

We had our picture taken about 15 times by the guy from aspirational magazine sitting in various cars, so look out for that one; I think he wanted pictures of my friend reb rather than me, so you might have to check for my arm rather than my face [:D]

Ben

PS.. Its my birthday soon, so if you're planning on having a "whip-round" I'd like my GT2 in black [;)]
