OPC or Specialist Servicing?

I apologise if this has been covered before on other posts.

I have a 4 year/40,000 mile service coming up and I wondered what difference it makes having a full OPC service history versus a part specialist service history, especially when you come to sell the car or part exchange in the future?

Your actual experiences would be appreciated [:)]
