OPC visits 2007

Those who have taken advantage of the free health checks at PC West and East London this year, what did you think of them? I'm going to try and propose to extend the free health check with front end clean up (leaves, rubbish, rodents...) and wax seal bottom of the car (which is now an option and not part of the service [:(] or was it ever?).

Think beginning or mid Spring and end of Autumn dates would be ideal for such PC visits? Open to suggestions for dates/seasons and any other things you would like to be done to you car (within reason) and would you be happy to pay for such additional service if they don't throw it in (will negotiate special rates for us)? We have two OPC visits, so suggest Spring in West London and Autumn in East London (we can start this off with a early morning tunnel run)...

I thought OPC Bow were a very good bunch, had a nice long chat with my technician who was very honest and knowledgable....he then diagnosed a leaky RMS and a cam leak [:(]...covered under warranty....they booked me in, arranged for my car to be picked up and courtesy car to be delivered (no OPC has offered all of that before). Can't ask for more......

If you can manage to get those extra bits thrown in you'll have done brilliantly!
My service comes up in Srping so personally I wouldn't need a check then.....but generally speaking Spring/Autumn combo sounds good.
 
I have found the OPC visits really good, nice to see they are human after all and a good friendly bunch. I often drop into OPC West London for help with the RS and they couldn't be nicer.

I think the underbody wax would be a great service.

There are a couple of guys at Chiswick who are very knowledgeable and can get to the bottom of most issues. My experience is that they like to see these cars so I often get help without needing to get booked in or being charged!! They also had a guy in parts who had an incredible knowledge of the earlier models and a great attitude to customer service - but he moved to SA earlier in the year.

I am sure many of the people won't be able to help but some OPCs are better than others.
 
Some of these guys at West London have been with the OPC since the Isleworth AFN days are very knowledgeable about all models as Yoda mentioned, it is down to individual OPCs...
