Spoke with the OPC Tewksbury today re some parts for my 928 S4 and the conversation lead onto all the DL OPC's have been given the task of restoring a transaxle car this year , theirs is a 1992 968 sport , apparently they wanted a 924 turbo but couldn't find the right car, I know the OPC in Leeds are restoring a 928 S4 would be interesting to find out what the others have chosen ? According to Stuart at Tewksbury this is being driven by the price increases in the front engine cars , good news all round

Did you follow the dealer competition last year, Jon? the theme was "targas or turbos".

From memory there was a 924 CGT, 924 turbo and a couple of 944 turbos restored. They were all at Brands Hatch for the fesival. It's a great idea, and the PCs really do go all-out to win it.

Hi Paul,

No cant say I did but will follow with interest this year.

Leeds do indeed gave a 928 this year, in an interesting colour, have a picture somewhere. They have already done a 944, but for an actual paying customers, a local club member.

I was at Sutton Coldfield yesterday and they're doing a 928 although I can't remember which specific model... The Guards 951 they did last year looks amazing! They seem really proud of their work on these too.
