Open Day at JZ Machtech
on
Tuesday 1st May​

The event kicks off from 7pm onwards, and it promises to be an informative and fun evening.

JZM will be able to answer and discuss a myriad of technical questions on the evening and they will also be providing some catered hospitality for members.

To help them with the planning, can I ask if you plan on attending the evening?

They have asked me for an early indication as they would rather plan for more people than too few.

For those who are not familiar with JZM and where they are located, JZM are located at J20/M25 (Kings Langley) and are one of the most reputable Porsche independents in the UK.

I believe they will be giving free Olaf beards to the first two to arrive in a Manthey badged GT3...

On the serious side, if you want anything in particular then we can always ask... already trying to get some group buy discounts going at OPC West London.

Because they are an independent, and do not have a formal agreement with PCGB for parts discounts (unlike the OPCs), I would suggest contacting JZM directly to enquire about prices on parts.

Just to clarify that the West London OPC is not the PCGB parts discount; it is the dealer principal wanting to support the region with a special promotion and I'm sure JZM would be happy to as well, as at the end of the day it is a business and they would be up for putting up a promotion for any new business which would otherwise not come their way. Something like group buys or day promotions are very easy to arrange...

Quite a few people have verbally indicated that they plan on attending.

Can we get a quick hands up? JZM have requested an indication of numbers for the correct provision of hospitality, and I want to make sure that we don't suddenly show up with 100 members when they have provisioned for 60. I think they are currently anticipating about 60 members or so (R21 included).

Please contact JZM directly (www.jzmachtech.com) if you have any queries on parts costs/availability if you plan on picking up something whilst there.

What a fantastic evening! Over 80 Porsches packed the car park, and over 100 members enjoyed a brilliant evening with food and drinks provided by JZM. A raffle for charity raised over £235 !

Many thanks to all who was able to make it, especially the staff and management at JZM. Hopefully we will make this a more regular event!
