Just arrived home from Shanes Castle.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day, despite the flies!

Great to see such a variety of machinery about - Desi's 993 and the 924, Ryan's car, Alan's car, Gary's targa, the slant nose turbo etc, but for me the 924 Carrera GT was just the bees knees!

And the run from Antrim to Ballymena was fun too - I had a Carrera 4 and a GT3 in front of me and a 944S2 behind me: Great!

Thanks to Alan, Desi and the team for 'making my day!'

P.S. Hard luck in the concourse Paul - I just love that little 964 of yours - better luck next time!

Peter (Amazonas Green 968)

Thanks guys for the great day, really enjoyed seeing the cars and getting a few concours tips from the pro's !! I have to agree the 924 carrera gt was fantastic, all credit due, now if i could only get my boxster s to shine like that i'd be happy. Anways thanks to Alan and all the organisers for a great welcome and a well organised day, well worth the drive up.

Regards

Thanks to all members and visitors for coming along to the open day event. A lot of work goes into organising an event like this but having a great crowd of enthusiasts makes it all worthwhile. I would like to thank Barry (Director PCGB) and Jean Smith for coming along and meeting our brilliant members, Alyson and Sara who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, the committee members for their help on the day, Agnews OPC, our judges, Autoglym, ROSPA and everyone else who was involved. Our aim was to make it as enjoyable for you and we will be planning to make next years event even better. Over 45 Porsches and nearly 200 people throughout the day made this our biggest event to date. Thanks to our host Shane O'Neill who I will be meeting with on Tuesday to discuss arrangements for next year. Once again thank you for your ongoing support
Alan Welshman
