It was fantastic and even more so as it was a typical great British spring day but 6 weeks early [8D]

I am with you guys on that - a top down run out to the countryside and a Pub lunch. Spring has come early

Last few weeks with the Boxster so was really savouring the open air experience.

Drove upto Derbyshire and back from Surrey yesterday and the number of soft tops/cabs, what have you, including some Boxsters and 911's, with the top DOWN, easily went into double figures -well done chasps!!

Coupe

I'd have stuck to the Boxster if it was a ragtop

The lure of an extra 100 bhp (x51 upgrade) and the fact I travel a lot for work so a coupe is much more comfortable. She who must be obeyed also required the new car to have 4 seats, with the ability to fix child seat in the back. Iguess she's thinking about ahving kids then!

I shall miss my boxsters both were superb but the more recent 987S has been stunning

Wanted a 911 since I was 5 so had to try one

Yes Jason,
What a great day here in Aberdeenshire too. I couldn't wait for the opportunity to take her out for a blast. It always pleases me to find that the engine starts first kick and them just gets on with it. What a fantastic car. I guess that's why I bought one.

-2 here today, but the sun was shining, so heater onto 29, heated seats on and top down - was great [:D]
