opinions on bridgestone or Michelin tyres

Need to change my tyres - currently running on dunlops that produce a lot of road noise. Considering Bridgestone N2 or michelin pilot sport have been quoted approx £560.00 for 4 fitted. also considered the Perelli's but these are not in stock at present. These are 17" wheels - standard carerra.

brigestone potenza are the way to go, certainly wouldn't bother with the perelli's at all, irregular tyre wear and too much noise in my experience, particularily at around 40 mph when they were most intrusive. Very impressed with the brigestone, excellent grip, longevity and I will certainly get them again, much smoother and quieter too. it's a while since I've had the pilots which I can't fault but my preference would be the brigestone.
p.s. get alignment done at the same time

Autocar ran a long-term test 996 for several years and specifically recommended the Pirelli P-Zero Rossos over the Michelins, for lower noise, better ride compliance and nicer handling.

I had a 996 at the time, and followed this recommendation, and can confirm that the Pirellis were excellent.
