Opinions on side vents?

I have been thinking about black vents as well. My son is insistant that I do it because it would look so much better, but I am undecided. I think your vents look good. I will probably have to photoshop a few pictures of my red car with the black vents to make my mind up.

Just fitted a set of silver Boxster side vents which I think suit the car quit well, may end up black.
Any thoughts?

Terrible pic I know.

Contraband, they will probably end up black, I think the horizontal slats of the Boxster grilles contrast nicely against the curved hip of the Cayman. Chris, funny you should mention pants, I think the std Cayman grilles are not unlike Y fronts.

Black is the way to go. Maybe worth considering doing the door mirrors at same time.

Nick, there is a guy on Planet 9 who has produced some vinyl sheets to cover half of the wing mirror, looks very good. Jeff, will fire up the compressor later..

Here's another idea[;)] But on a serious note, I think your change looks really good Giff. Leaving it silver may accentuate the change more than a darker colour IMHO

Fitted. I need to give them a few more days before buffing them up properly and I managed to get a run on one fin but otherwise I'm very pleased with the result:
