I have to say I find this stunning apart from the ludicrous price tag :

Opinions please

It's a bitza front end like the older 911/912... rear end and lights of a 3.2 carrera ... spoiler of a 964/993 and the inside dont go there [:D] There is loads of debate on the PH forum but IMO would rather have one of PS creations .and the price eye watering .

I'm with brian, considering what genuine pork you can buy for the same money, thats not where my money would go....

I have mixed views. The very best of these recreations (like the Singer, PS, Tuthills and the like) are probably far better sorted to drive than a classic. However they are all mighty expensive, and will depreciate badly I suspect, at least initially. Tempted though I might be, putting your money into the right classic would be a wiser move financially, although something like a Singer might be a better drivers car. Your call! [;)]

I just can't make up my mind on the Singer. I have always liked the concept of modernising a classic car but I think the bottom line is that if I wanted to spend a couple of hundred thousand pounds on making an old Porsche better I would rather be completely involved in the decision process than have someone do it all for me. One of the arguments for the car is it's uniqueness but at the end of the day it's going to be more or less the same as any other Singer.

I'm sure Paul Stevens would be able to turn out a fabulously unique car based on your own wish list if you had 200 k plus for him to play with.

The attraction to the Singer cars is the models that produce big BHP's as opposed to other recreations that offer only circa 250bhp.
Nonetheless unless you've cash to burn and dont care id leave well alone. They are stunning vehicles though especially in viper green

A bit silly looking in my opinion
You would get pulled by Chris ( T200) and his team for the sticky out tyres
Engine is by 9M in Warrington so big BHP avail here
looks like a Hot Wheels model from the 90s
Best to leave to the American taste I think
Proves its difficult to improve on Porsche design , i like a hot rod on an older car but this is just a trend for the trendy.

I think all these recreations are a bit over rated.I could build that car for a lot less money. But why would you? You end up with a car that's not old or new just kind of warmed over 80's 911.I can see why people would want the look of and older car with the go of a newer one.But build it youself, all these guys are ripping you off in a big way, why pay that much for a copy when you could add a bit more and get a nice origional car ( obviously not a rs) or buy an old car and put in a newer bigger engine.

Also I am getting close to the end of my own project. If anyone has a good project in mind or wants to do one then feel free to ask. I am looking for a new project to do over next winter.

Maybe I'm a minority here but I think this car is stunning and superbly built. I would order one tomorrow if I had the funds!
