Opinions wanted on M030 setup with Bilstein HD Shocks

Has anybody fitted the M030 suspension (springs, rollbars, drop links) with Bilstein HD Shocks?

My car has factory M033 lowered setup on standard suspension and the shocks are completely shot with one rear leaking badly so I am thinking of upgrading rather than a straight replacement. The car will be used for fast road use only with no track days planned. I have both 17" and 18" wheels for the car. The ride height would be set standard M030.

I want something that goes around corners well and feels good on our 'wonderful' roads. I don't want it to hop around. Any feedback from people who have done this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Maurice. Hmm yes I did notice Gert's current offers.

I see a lot of PSS9 vs M030 + HD discussions. I know that the PSS9 setup is adjustable where the other is not and people who track cars like them.

So the question is; if I put a PSS9 setup on the car is it an evolution of what M030 + HD feels like. What I mean by this is does buying PSS9 give me the option of setting the car up the same as M030 + HD if I want - plus the ability to change it to something else as required. Or is installing PSS9 going to mean I will get different characteristics completely.

Remember I want the car for road use only. One way of answering this would be to list

a/ What a PSS9 setup would do well.
b/ What a M030 + HD shocks set up would do well.

Interesting opinion singh. You have hit my dilemma on the head. If I fit a PSS9 setup am I going to end with it adjusted to be similar to M030 + HDs anyway for road use and therefore spend extra money on adjustability I don't use.

Three follow up questions for you all

1/ Is there anything PSS9 does better than M030 + HD on all settings? Has it got superior better springs, dampers, etc or is it just adjustable.

2/ What's involved in adjusting PSS9s? Say I want it changing from 4 to 6 and send it into my independant whats the effort for them each time.

3/ Do you have to have alignment done after each adjustment?
