Option Codes

I came across the following two option codes on a '97 model year C16 993 recently and I was wondering if anyone could shed any light : 240 & 587.

I checked kindel.com, which returned nothing on 587 and 'version for countries with inferior fuel' for 240, which I am not sure is correct.
