Options availability

Was told this week by OPC Reading that the chromed tail pipes option that I had confirmed for my Nov build car is now not available from the factory. Same applies to the short shifter option. They also mentioned the sports exhaust is looking like March05!
Very disappointing that Porsche haven't sorted out the options availability for RHD cars properly - I'm sure the new Aston Martin V8 ordering process and experience would be better. Even more disappointing that they proabably won't offer the part on Tequipment at the factory price even though it is Porsche that have messed up.

Have had similar disappointment with a few options on my FEB build 987 "S" [&o] I can't understand how or why Porsche can't offer the options on a new model from day one! The options I'm considering have been available on Boxsters since 1997! so whats the big with the new model. It's not like they have been building anything but 987 / 997's since September anyway [&o]
